3那人常住在坟茔里,没有人能捆住他,就是用铁链也不能;
9耶稣问他说:“你名叫什么?”回答说:“我名叫‘群’,因为我们多的缘故”;
1,被污鬼附着的人,常住坟茔。表明:归宿是死亡;
2,污鬼附着的人,屡次挣断铁链,弄碎脚镣。表明:人的灵魂被污灵附着后,外在的捆绑无法束缚鬼魔;
3,被污鬼附着的人昼夜喊叫,用石头砍自己也无济于事。表明:人性面对魔鬼不堪一击,无意义的喊叫声再大,时间再长也无法呵退鬼魔,自残也没用;

A Demon-Possessed Man Healed
(Matt. 8:28—9:1Luke 8:26–39)
1Then they came to the other side of the sea, to the country of the Gadarenes.
2And when He had come out of the boat, immediately there met Him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit,
3who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no one could bind him, not even with chains,
4because he had often been bound with shackles and chains. And the chains had been pulled apart by him, and the shackles broken in pieces; neither could anyone tame him.
5And always, night and day, he was in the mountains and in the tombs, crying out and cutting himself with stones.
6When he saw Jesus from afar, he ran and worshiped Him.
7And he cried out with a loud voice and said, “What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I implore You by God that You do not torment me.”
8For He said to him, “Come out of the man, unclean spirit!”
9Then He asked him, “What is your name?”
And he answered, saying, “My name is Legion; for we are many.”
10Also he begged Him earnestly that He would not send them out of the country.

  1. The man possessed by unclean spirits lived among the tombs, signifying that his ultimate destination was death.

  2. He repeatedly broke chains and shattered shackles, demonstrating that when a person’s soul is controlled by unclean spirits, no external restraints can contain the demonic forces.

  3. Day and night, he cried out and cut himself with stones, The man possessed by unclean spirits cried out day and night and cut himself with stones, but it was of no use. This illustrates that human nature is powerless against demonic forces. No matter how loud or prolonged the cries, nor how extreme the acts of self-harm, such efforts cannot drive away evil spirits.

  4. When the man saw Jesus from afar, he ran and worshiped Him, but this act of worship was not out of repentance or a desire for forgiveness. Instead, it was motivated by the unclean spirits’ fear of the authority of the Son of God and their dread of being cast into the lake of fire.

11在那里山坡上,有一大群猪吃食;
16看见这事的,便将鬼附之人所遇见的和那群猪的事都告诉了众人;
1,格拉森是一个靠近外邦的典型的希腊式城市,社会风气注重经商沉湎享乐,信仰上崇拜多神,对于唯一真神的抵触反映了他们属灵上的盲目;
2,对于耶稣赶鬼这样的神迹,众人无法把荣耀归于神而喜悦,宁愿把这种伟大的权柄当着未知的超自然能力心怀恐惧;
3,原本一人疯魔,众生相安。现在是一人正常,二千猪亡,经济损失严重,所以当地人对于耶稣的停留可能带来的物质利益上的不确定性担忧不已;

首先,必须清楚:主有权柄和大能,主也有安排和预备。跟随主首要功课是顺服主,听从主的指引,依照主的旨意而行;
其次,传扬真实的见证是信主之人的光辉使命和必要责任;
再次,我们是主的器皿也是主的奴仆,服侍主不是鞍前马后的泡茶倒水,而是忠心信靠地实实在在地完成祂给予的托付;
还有,主对于我们的怜悯与爱,不仅仅在于拯救,还在于宣扬见证的同时,对于我们一步步的属灵牧养;

11Now a large herd of swine was feeding there near the mountains.
12So all the demons begged Him, saying, “Send us to the swine, that we may enter them.”
13And at once Jesus gave them permission. Then the unclean spirits went out and entered the swine (there were about two thousand); and the herd ran violently down the steep place into the sea, and drowned in the sea.
14So those who fed the swine fled, and they told it in the city and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that had happened.
15Then they came to Jesus, and saw the one who had been demon-possessed and had the legion, sitting and clothed and in his right mind. And they were afraid.
16And those who saw it told them how it happened to him who had been demon-possessed, and about the swine.
17Then they began to plead with Him to depart from their region.
18And when He got into the boat, he who had been demon-possessed begged Him that he might be with Him.
19However, Jesus did not permit him, but said to him, “Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He has had compassion on you.”
20And he departed and began to proclaim in Decapolis all that Jesus had done for him; and all marveled.

To expand, since Adam and Eve were tempted by the ancient snake to break the covenant of God, the devil has entered people's hearts, and people have been condemned. We easily fall into the snares designed by the devil and are often drawn to sensory pleasures, becoming trapped in selfishness and greed.In a sense, in the eyes of the holy God, each of us from Adam is possessed by the devil. Therefore, everyone can be seen everywhere: "gamblers", "smokers", "drinkers", "sexusts", "drug addicts", "stingy ghosts", "starving ghosts", "debt collectors", "ghosts make gods", "ghosts talk", "hearts ghosts" and so on.

Evil spirits and demons love the dirty and unclean environment, and cherish each other for selfish desires and greed. In the doctrine of Judaism, pigs are unclean animals that are the favorite attachments of unclean ghosts, and the pigs attached to ghosts can only end up jumping off the cliff to death.

Question one, why were the ghosts driven out, the pigs jumped off the cliff and threw into the sea, and the people dressed and sat, but the people were afraid and begged Jesus to leave the ground? The reasons are nothing more than the following:
1. Glacen is a typical Greek city close to the Gentiles. The social atmosphere focuses on business and pleasure. The belief is the worship of polytheism. The resistance to the only true god reflects their spiritual blindness;
2. For the miracle of Jesus exorcism, people can't rejoice in the glory to God, and would rather fear this great power in the front of the unknown supernatural ability;
3. Originally, one person was crazy, and all sentient beings were at peace. Now it is normal for one person, 2,000 pigs have died, and the economic losses are serious, so the locals are worried about the uncertainty of the material benefits that Jesus' stay may bring;
4. Everyone is attached to Satan's evil spirit in their hearts. When people echo each other, worry will give birth to resistance, and anxiety will give birth to fear.

Question two, why did Jesus refuse to follow him after being driven out of the ghost, and let him go back to preach this matter to his relatives?
First of all, it must be clear that the Lord has authority and power, and the Lord also has arrangements and preparations. The first lesson of following the Lord is to obey the Lord, listen to the Lord's guidance, and walk according to the Lord's will;
Secondly, it is the glorious mission and necessary responsibility of believers to spread the true testimony;
Thirdly, we are the Lord's vessels and servants of the Lord. Serving the Lord is not to make tea and water in front of the saddle, but to faithfully and faithfully fulfill the entrustment He has given;
In addition, the Lord's mercy and love for us is not only in salvation, but also in preaching and witnessing, and in our spiritual pastoral care step by step;
Finally, the Lord is the ubiquitous Lord. He knows everything about us and pays attention to everything about us, and He is always with us! He hears our prayers, He will respond to our prayers, and He is also willing to fulfill our prayers!
Thank God, the person who was driven out of the Lord and possessed by the ghost is each of us who believes in the Lord. He obeyed the Lord's arrangement and returned to his hometown to preach and witness the Lord's mercy and power. He is our role model!

1,坚信耶稣有赦罪的权柄和治愈的大能;

A Girl Restored to Life and a Woman Healed
(Matt. 9:18–26Luke 8:40–56)
21Now when Jesus had crossed over again by boat to the other side, a great multitude gathered to Him; and He was by the sea.
22And behold, one of the rulers of the synagogue came, Jairus by name. And when he saw Him, he fell at His feet
23and begged Him earnestly, saying, “My little daughter lies at the point of death. Come and lay Your hands on her, that she may be healed, and she will live.”
24So Jesus went with him, and a great multitude followed Him and thronged Him.
25Now a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years,
26and had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse.
27When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment.
28For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.”
29Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction.
30And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched My clothes?”
31But His disciples said to Him, “You see the multitude thronging You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’ ”
32And He looked around to see her who had done this thing.
33But the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth.
34And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.”

The patient with blood leakage bleeds for a long time and can't be stopped. In the Old Testament "Levicus", it is clearly stated that patients with blood leakage should be isolated from society. According to the law, they are unclean. Priests should offer sin offerings and burnt offerings before the Lord.
From the perspective of the spiritual surface, "blood leakage" symbolizes the loss of spiritual life leading to exhaustion, and also represents the impure state of the spirit.
Women's confidence is commendable:
1. Firmly believe that Jesus has the power to forgive sins and the power to heal;
2. Firmly believe that as long as you touch Jesus' clothes, you will be healed.
A woman's firm belief is a witness to grace, which not only heals herself but also makes herself accomple, and also brings us profound and important revelation: the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ is not stingy with believers who really need it at any time. As long as we sincerely desire, pray urgently, pursue without distraction, and believe completely, we will be able to truly touch the Lord in the words of the Bible and receive the response of the Holy Spirit!
Jesus said to her, "Daughter, your faith has saved you. Go back in peace! Your disaster has been cured. Interpretation: Because of your thoughts and actions, that is, "righteousness by faith", you have improved and restored the intimate relationship between man and God, and you have become my daughter. God has forgiven your sins, and your plague is completely cured. You can go home safely and enjoy God's rest.

35While He was still speaking, some came from the ruler of the synagogue’s house who said, “Your daughter is dead. Why trouble the Teacher any further?”
36As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He said to the ruler of the synagogue, “Do not be afraid; only believe.”
37And He permitted no one to follow Him except Peter, James, and John the brother of James.
38Then He came to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and saw a tumult and those who wept and wailed loudly.
39When He came in, He said to them, “Why make this commotion and weep? The child is not dead, but sleeping.”
40And they ridiculed Him. But when He had put them all outside, He took the father and the mother of the child, and those who were with Him, and entered where the child was lying.
41Then He took the child by the hand, and said to her, “Talitha, cumi,” which is translated, “Little girl, I say to you, arise.”
42Immediately the girl arose and walked, for she was twelve years of age. And they were overcome with great amazement.
43But He commanded them strictly that no one should know it, and said that something should be given her to eat.

    ————————————————
(35-36)Spiritual wars are unfolding anytime and anywhere.
Satan's words often confuse people's minds. They are always "reasonable" and have a fascinating temptation. The sentence in the Garden of Eden: "Does God really say that you are not allowed to eat the fruits on all the trees in the garden?" ······"You don't have to die, because God knows that your eyes will be bright on the days you eat, and you will be like God can know good and evil." Then to the sentence in the letter hall: "Your daughter is dead, why do you have to return the laborer?" Is it the intonation and hints to lure different songs:
In the Garden of Eden is: If you eat, you may not die, but you can still have the same wisdom as God. Don't listen to God!
Now in the hall: Your daughter is dead. Don't bother the gentleman. Send him away!
In a word, don't listen to God and the Lord!
"Don't be afraid, just believe!" The words of the Lord are concise and powerful!
Fear and fear are the biggest obstacles to faith, and they are also the common tools used by Satan to deal with people who are close to God. The Lord Jesus directly strangled the seven inches of the poisonous snake here and cut off the source of the obstacle: don't be afraid, just believe! Confidence is a weapon to overcome fear. The more people trust in God, the less fear they are, which cramms Satan's living space!
Jesus said to her, "Daughter, your faith has saved you. Go back in peace! Your disaster has been cured."
The clear message revealed by this sentence: by relying on the abundant grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, life can be saved; all disasters can be cured; peace can be obtained; and home can be returned!
——————————————
(36-37)The Lord Jesus chose three disciples to go with him. Among them, Peter did not recognize the Lord three times. Jacob and John were given the name "Bannichi" by the Lord because of their blood and violent temper. Judging from the standards of the world, they are all weak-willed and have outstanding shortcomings, but the Lord Jesus favors them. Wherever there is an important witness, let them serve them, spare no effort to feed them, and give them important entrustment in the future!
It can be seen that the growth of faith is not achieved overnight, but needs to be constantly fed spiritual food, and faith in God is strengthened in repeated spiritual witnesses.
——————————————

(38-39)The Lord Jesus Christ came to the world incarnation to save the lives of the world, so the Lord said that "immortality" will not die, and the rebirth of the dead is only "sleep" will wake up. Therefore, "Don't shout, don't cry", the Lord who saves the lives of the world is now here.
(40) Those who ridicule and resist God, God will also drive them out of the kingdom of God.
(41-43)"Daughter, I command you to get up." This is the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ! The tone of this sentence seems to be an order from his father to a little girl who is late for school and has to get up. Not only to the little girl, but also to the people in the synagogue, and to the world: It's time to get up (open your eyes and see God's salvation)
Since the little girl has been saved, why did the Lord Jesus tell people not to let others know about it while ordering people to give her something to eat? I think the fundamental reason is what is said in Chapter 9, Section 9, The Lord himself said"The Son of Man has not yet risen from the dead".But no matter what the Lord's true intention is, it is accurate not to let others know about it!Just listen to the Lord and do as the Lord Jesus commands.
The natural flesh of man comes from Adam, with sin, and the labor of sin is death. The world is in the hands of Satan, and the end of the world is death. The death of a little girl (the Lord said it was asleep) symbolizes that believers lived a life full of sin before they believed in the Lord. In the eyes of people, it was death and in the eyes of the Lord, it was sleep. The Lord Jesus took the little girl's hand, which was the moment when the believers confessed their sins and repented, received water, and were pulled out of the water from the flood. The past sins of the saved were flooded, and out of the water was a brand-new person who believed in the Lord (wake up and saw the Lord).
After the girl woke up, Jesus ordered her to eat. It symbolizes that after those who believe in the Lord are saved, they need to be well raised and spiritually can gradually become healthy. The survival and even the strength of spiritual life must rely entirely on the supply of the spiritual food of the Lord Jesus Christ.
In Jewish society, girls are 12 years old (boys are 13 years old) to hold the ceremony of the daughter of the commandment (the son of the commandment). It means that at this point, you need to begin to take on religious and moral responsibilities. You need to participate in religious ceremonies, participate in Sabbath services, etc., and take responsibility for your words and deeds before God.
There is an introduction in this passage: "My daughter is twelve years old". From the upper and lower lines, it looks awkward. This is not a meaningless and olissable sentence, but the Lord Jesus' deliberately emphasized warning to the Jews: the Lord Jesus is about to achieve the great plan of God the Father to be honored, and the kingdom of heaven is near. In front of the Jews, it is a crucial turning point between life and death, the turning point between the Old Testament and the New Testament. Do you choose to accept the grace of the gospel or continue to live in the commandments under the law? Do you choose eternal life in heaven or immortal fire in hell?

表明主耶稣基督是创造宇宙主管万物的造物主;
表明主耶稣基督是具有驱魔赶鬼权柄让人得自由主;
表明主耶稣基督是可以赦免罪恶让人得救赎的主;

To make a summary:
From the time the Lord led his disciples to cross the sea to Gracen, there were four miracles in total. From these four miracles, we can clearly see the glory of the Lord Jesus from God:
1. The Lord Jesus Christ stopped the wind and waves,
It shows that the Lord Jesus Christ is the creator of all things in the universe;
2. The Lord Jesus Christ heals those who are possessed by filth,
It shows that the Lord Jesus Christ has the power to exorcise demons and give people freedom;
3. The Lord Jesus cured a woman who had been bleeding for 12 years,
It shows that the Lord Jesus Christ is the Lord who can forgive sin and redeem people;
4. The Lord Jesus Christ saved the twelve-year-old girl,
It shows that the Lord Jesus Christ is the Lord who can raise people from the dead and resurrect.
